Procurement FAQ

Clear answers before the search starts.

The practical details behind inspection, bidding, payment and delivery—before you submit a brief.

Can I inspect a vehicle before bidding?
Yes, where the auction, seller and vehicle location allow it. We can request available condition reports, photos, videos or an independent inspection before you authorize a bid. The available evidence and any inspection limitations are made clear on the shortlist.
Do you source clean-title and salvage vehicles?
We can source both clean-title and salvage vehicles, subject to availability and the import requirements at the destination. The disclosed title or condition status is included with the vehicle information so you can decide what fits your needs and risk tolerance.
How are payments and bidding limits handled?
The selected asset, estimated cost position and maximum bid are agreed before any auction activity. We only act within that recorded authority. Payment instructions and the applicable purchase or auction documentation are shared at the relevant stage.
What happens if a bid is unsuccessful?
No vehicle is purchased. We review the result with you and can move to another approved option, continue the search or revise the brief and bidding limit. Any platform-related cost that could apply is disclosed before bidding.
Are shipping and customs included?
They can be. Macaegis can coordinate collection, international freight, customs clearing and final delivery as one managed journey. Your proposal and cost breakdown will state exactly which services and third-party charges are included.
How long does the complete process take?
Timing depends on the sourcing market, inspection access, seller documentation, sailing schedules and destination clearance. We provide a working timeline for the specific request and update it at each confirmed milestone rather than promising one duration for every shipment.
